Micheline Brunner, MSN, RN-BCSenior Nurse Informaticist, Carilion ClinicMicheline Brunner, MSN, RN-BC, is a senior nurse informaticist at Carilion Clinic with more than 27 years of nursing experience spanning oncology, medical-surgical nursing and clinical informatics. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from American Sentinel University and is board certified in informatics nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Her work focuses on transforming clinical data into meaningful improvements for frontline nurses. Through EHR optimization, workflow redesign, analytics and emerging technologies, Micheline leads initiatives to reduce documentation burden and improve nursing efficiency.
Micheline is passionate about ensuring technology works for clinicians, not the other way around. Her goal is to develop practical, data-informed solutions that strengthen nursing practice, support clinician well-being and enhance patient care.
Outside of work, Micheline enjoys vegetable gardening and long walks with her husband, a pharmacist, and their dog, Harper. A recent empty nester with two sons in college, she is embracing this new chapter while navigating the joys and responsibilities of being part of the sandwich generation.

Health Information, CHIO at CentraWith more than 15 years of healthcare experience, Jenna Dziuba, MSN, RN, NI-BC, has served Centra in Lynchburg, Virginia, since 2012. She earned degrees in journalism and political science from Rutgers University before pursuing a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Russell Sage College. She completed a Master of Science in nursing informatics at Western Governors University in 2021 and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in informatics nursing. In 2023, she was named a 40 Under 40 honoree by the Virginia Nurses Foundation.
Dziuba began her career at Centra as a clinical nurse and later moved into roles focused on nursing quality and informatics, driven by a habit of saying yes to new projects and opportunities. She is passionate about developing and using actionable analytics to advance healthcare change and about making data accessible and easy to understand for frontline staff. She now serves as senior director for nursing quality and informatics and interim chief health informatics officer for Centra. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, children and friends.
Gregory GarciaExec. Director at Health Sector Coordinating Council Cybersecurity Working GroupGreg Garcia is executive director of the Health Sector Coordinating Council Cybersecurity Working Group, a government-recognized critical infrastructure advisory council representing more than 470 health care providers, pharmaceutical and medtech companies, payers and health IT organizations working with government to identify and mitigate cyber threats.
In 2006, Garcia was appointed by President George W. Bush as the nation’s first assistant secretary for cybersecurity and communications at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He conceived and initiated the National Cyber and Communications Integration Center, a 24/7 public-private partnership for cybersecurity monitoring, warning, analysis and incident response.
Garcia previously served as executive director of the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council and helped establish the IT Sector Coordinating Council. He also held senior executive positions with Bank of America, 3Com Corp. and industry associations focused on technology and electronics.
He served as professional staff for the U.S. House Committee on Science, where he helped draft and advance the Cyber Security Research and Development Act of 2002. He is a former member of the Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board.
Garcia received the 2024 Malcolm Baldrige Foundation Award for Leadership Excellence in Cybersecurity and the 2026 Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center Routhy Award for health care cybersecurity leadership.
Tiffany Hopper, MSN, RN, OCNStrategic Clinical Project Manager at Virginia Oncology AssociatesTiffany Hopper, MSN, RN, OCN, is the strategic clinical project manager at Virginia Oncology Associates and a Ph.D. student in nursing at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her current research centers on intravenous smart pump alarm data analysis in outpatient oncology settings.
She is a second-career nurse who previously worked as a computer operator for Lockheed Martin. Tiffany holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership (educator track) from Wilmington University and a graduate certificate in nursing informatics from Chamberlain University. Prior to her current clinical leadership and research roles, her background included hands-on experience as a clinical educator and infusion nurse.
A published researcher and 2026 Oncology Nursing Foundation Ph.D. Academic Scholarship recipient, Tiffany actively contributes to advancing informatics, quality improvement and clinical technology integration. She serves as the informatics and digital strategy chair for the Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society and participates across multiple technology workgroups within the US Oncology Network, including the Smart Infusion Pump Evaluation Workgroup. She is also a member of HIMSS (Virginia Chapter), ANIA and the Infusion Nurses Society.
In her free time, Tiffany enjoys binge-watching shows, reading, crafting and spending time with her husband and daughter.
Abigail HoweClinical Informatics Specialist at Centra HealthWith more than 21 years of nursing experience across acute care, critical care, perioperative nursing and clinical informatics, Abigail Howe brings a unique perspective on the intersection of patient care, technology, data and healthcare leadership. Currently serving as a clinical informatics specialist at Centra Health, Abbey works at the intersection of clinicians and technology, helping translate clinical needs into effective technology solutions and supporting data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Throughout her career, Abbey has demonstrated a commitment to improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. Her experience includes developing a respiratory patient navigation program, analyzing hospital readmissions and patient data trends, supporting business strategy and productivity initiatives, and partnering with multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinical workflows and processes.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration from Liberty University. In 2025, Abbey was a finalist for the Virginia Nurses Association Leadership Excellence Award in Nursing Informatics, recognizing her contributions to the evolving field of nursing informatics.

Nancy Husson, DNP, RNClinical Assist. Professor at Virginia Commonwealth Univ. Dr. Nancy Husson received her post-master certificate in nursing informatics in 2015 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Vanderbilt University in 2018. Nancy has taught simulation and nursing informatics in undergraduate education since 2010 and in graduate education since 2020. She has also worked in clinical informatics at Penn State Hershey and Duke Home Care and Hospice. Nancy has played a key role in redesigning the curriculum and developing courses in nursing informatics at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing.
Nicole Mohiuddin, DNP, MS, RNSenior IT Analyst at UVA HealthDr. Nicole Mohiuddin is a healthcare informatics and technology leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning healthcare provider organizations, technology vendors and consulting. Throughout her career, she has championed innovative healthcare technology to advance patient care, clinical operations and workforce effectiveness.
Dr. Mohiuddin currently serves in the Department of Business Systems at UVA Health, an academic health system comprising an academic medical center and three community hospitals across Central Virginia. In her role, she provides leadership for the support, maintenance and implementation of payroll, staffing and scheduling, and workforce productivity analytics systems. She also oversees the design, development and implementation of training programs for clinical and patient care services, managers and administrative staff across the health system.
Her previous informatics leadership roles include director of clinical informatics for a multihospital health system, manager of strategic marketing for a medical device corporation and senior informatics consultant with a Fortune 500 company. Her clinical nursing experience includes serving as a charge nurse on a busy 36-bed medical-surgical unit and as a teletriage nurse.
Dr. Mohiuddin earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Health Systems Management from Rush University in Chicago and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional leadership and education through service on the boards of the American Nursing Informatics Association, including eight years as Central Region director and her current role as Education director, as well as the Greater Illinois Chapter of HIMSS, where she served as director of informatics.
Her career reflects a unique combination of clinical expertise, informatics leadership, healthcare technology strategy, workforce analytics and professional education, with a continuing focus on leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery and organizational performance.

Rosa, DNP, MS, RN, serves as Vice President and Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at Sentara Health, bringing over 30 years of nursing experience and a strong track record in healthcare IT leadership across private, public, and academic sectors. She has led major initiatives including EMR transformation at Broward Health, regional EHR adoption for over 3,000 physicians, and informatics innovation at Baptist Health, where her team achieved measurable improvements in cost savings, revenue capture, and nursing workflow.
